Uplifting message for those who have not found an effective trichotillomania cure from someone who did!

This is an uplifting message for everybody who has been looking for an effective trichotillomania cure and has not found it yet.

Because having suffered from compulsively pulling out hair for 9 years myself, I know that when you deal with trichotillomania in your life it is not always easy to feel great about yourself.

I can still remember how after each hair pulling session I often felt ashamed, disappointed and sorry for myself. It always made me very sad when I saw new locks of hair laying on the ground, when I looked in the mirror and saw the results of this behavior or when I simply went through my hair with my fingers and felt the bald spots as a result of all of this.

This was a kind of inner pain that no one really understood. “Just quit it”, they often said. “Yes but how?, I often thought.

An important lesson I learned in trichotillomania therapy

As I am now reflecting on the trichotillomania therapy I went through to overcome the urge for pulling out hair and the period of my life before, I realize how much this hair pull disorder dictated my life. What I allowed myself to do and not to do.

But also the happiness when I was finally able to find out with some loving assistance how to stop hair pulling and leave this all behind me. Escaping the mental prison from the past when I simply did not know how to break the habit of pulling out hair but SO MUCH wanted to.

One of the things that I learned through trichotillomania therapy is that I am the most important person in my own life. That I need to look after myself every day in the best way I possibly can.

An important lesson I learned during trichotillomania therapy

Something that may seem logical, but when I honestly reflect on my daily actions before the trichotillomania therapy, I now understand how I was actually building up unhealthy stress with what I did or did not do and the urge for pulling out my hair without realizing it.

Something I have learned to change: standing up for myself now in all kinds of situations with the help of the techniques I learned in the process, allowing myself to create much more peace of mind. Something I truly wish for every person who still struggles with trichotillomania in her or his life and wants to leave this hair pulling disorder behind too.

The time I needed to complete the trichotillomania therapy

The time I needed to complete the trichotillomania therapy was actually a big surprise to me. Because just one trichotillomania therapy session was all that was needed. Maybe I was lucky and others need more time, I honestly don’t know. All I know is that I gave my all and was very motivated.

Of course I had tried many things before on my own: wearing gloves, wearing something on top of my head, fully accepting trichotillomania and hoping it would go by one day. But the first time that I went to someone for professional help I was able to find a cure for trichotillomania that really worked well for me.

When you have tried several things already or have stuggled for a long time how to stop hair pulling youself, I can imagine that you might loose hope once in a while.

It is not always easy to keep believing in a trichotillomania cure when you have been trying and have not succeeded yet.

But hopefully what I share here and in other blog post will help you and make it easier to start and keep believing and find a trichotillomania cure that works for you too.

Trichotillomania therapy is about unlearning what you have learned to do!

After my experience with the trichotillomania therapy I know now beyond a shadow of doubt that any person who really wants to is able to overcome the habit of pulling out hair.

I also believe that problems like trichotillomania are coming into our life only because we are also able to solve them. Pulling out hair is nothing more than a form of self-limiting behavior. Behavior that you’ve learned, which means that it is also something you can unlearn.

The challenging/difficult part with trichotillomania is that it is a form of unconscious behavior. When you ask a random person if she or he feels like pulling out hair, that will person will very likely say no. This is probably true for you as well. And still you do it: pulling out hair against your own free will!

And although this might seem strange to understand, rest assured that nothing is wrong with you. Our brain is constructed in such a way that sometimes there is no clear indication or explanation why you do what you do. If you have not done so, I encourage you to read the free report about treatment of trichotillomania available through this website with an extended explanation of this process.

But believe me, fully understanding how the brain operates yourself to overcome trichotillomania is not required. Through the help of someone who knows this far better than I did, I learned how I did what I did, how I contributed to it all, without always realizing, and more importantly, how to stop hair pulling myself. With simple and powerful techniques that helped me to gain back control.

Finding a trichotillomania cure that works: keep moving!

I honestly don’t know about alternative methods to cure trichotillomania and which one works best. All I know is that once I truly committed myself and asked for help, I was able to overcome the habit of pulling out hair.

Should you have tried many things that did not work, tell yourself to keep exploring until you find the trichotillomania cure that works for you.

All this means is that you probably haven’t found the right person or method/technique yet. That is everything. Keep believing and keep moving towards your goal and like me, you will find it.

Because I now know I was stronger than I thought I was, something you will undoubtedly discover for yourself once you go through this process. And if I was able to give you a standardized solution I would give it to you immediately. But this is something that you, like me, have to do yourself. It is your search, like it was mine and like many other people who have a problem for which they’re looking for solution.

Finding effective treatment for trichotillomania is definitely worth the effort!

All I can say is that it is definetely worth it to find effective treatment for trichotillomania and overcome the habit of pulling out hair too.

You can free yourself from trichotillomania and live life on your terms again. Free from the urge of pulling out hair. No longer restricting yourself in any possible way, no longer feeling the emotional pain. But setting yourself free from all of this and live your life to the fullest.

Find the power and desire that lies within you. Surround yourself with loving people who can support and encourage you in this process or simply find encouragement in this message and keep on moving.

Keep rewarding and respecting yourself for all your efforts. When something doesn’t work instantly, keep on moving until you find trichotillomania treatment that works for you.

And meanwhile be kind to yourself by respecting and loving yourself. And as you do, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you too will find a trichotillomania cure that works for you. And when you do, this will turn out to be a very happy moment in your life.

I wish you tremendous success and hope with all my heart that you will quickly find what you are looking for if you need help in this process.

With all my love and wishing you well on your journey for setting yourself free!
